Wild Fishermen Bait and Fish is a premier premier wholesale bait distributor and pond stocking company located in Comanche, Texas. As a family owned and operated business, we specialize in educating our clients and providing the best fish and pond management service in the business.  For more than 30 years our customers have been our greatest asset, and customer satisfaction is still our top priority.

We serve as a wholesale distributor to bait shops in North and Central Texas. We are also involved in the production, sales and distribution of a wide variety of fish for stocking ponds. We sell large mouth bass, channel catfish, talapia, crappie, bluegill, hybrid bluegill, redear, shinner minnows, fathead minnows and golffish.  We also provide Tripoid Grass Carp, but you must have a permit from Texas Parks and Wildlife to purchase the carp.

We are open Monday through Friday by appointment, Saturday from 9AM – 2PM, and closed Sundays.  Please feel free to text or call us at 325-330-3507 and we will be happy to set up and appointment to meet or answer all your questions regarding bait and pond fish.

One Stop Shop for Bait and Pond Fish

We carry a large selection of pond and bait fish, so it’s likely we’ll have exactly what you need for your pond or fishing excursion.  Our breeding location has numerous ponds where we raise and keep most of our fish inventory; however, our retail location is conveniently located right on US 67 where it’s easily accessible.  We will meet with you there, and if you have placed an order, your fish will be bagged and ready for pickup when you arrive.  Since most of our time is dedicated to set appointments, we can save you lots of time and provide many answers to your questions in advance.

Warren and Lisa Welch are the owners of Wild Fishermen Bait and Fish.  They are very knowledgeable about ponds and fish, and are always willing and ready to share it with their clients.   They were educated in the fish business under the watchful eye of Harrell Arms, owner of one of the most successful bait and fish hatchery businesses in the state of Texas.
